Discovery Reveals Official Game Trailer and Web3 Partnership

XPUNKS creators have officially revealed the first official trailer for their upcoming post-apocalyptic extraction shooter Eden: Discovery.

Alongside the trailer, the team announced the game’s integration with the Solana blockchain and a partnership with GameShift by Solana Labs. These moves aim to enhance the game’s in-game economy, tournament systems, and accessibility for a broad range of players.

Eden: Discovery is set to offer both blockchain-integrated and traditional gaming options, catering to diverse preferences within the gaming community. The announcement also revealed plans for a public Alpha release by the end of Q1, providing early access to the core gameplay features.

What is Eden: Discovery?

Eden: Discovery is a multiplayer extraction shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world where resources are scarce and survival depends on strategy and skill. Matches are designed to be short and intense, with players gathering valuable resources whilst navigating hostile environments and attempting to escape alive.

The game also introduces competitive tournament modes and players can host or join tournaments with real monetary stakes, supported by Solana’s cryptocurrency ($SOL). These tournaments cater to both casual and competitive gamers, offering flexible formats such as one-on-one duels or larger multiplayer brackets.

Future updates are expected to expand the game’s features with user-generated content tools, allowing players to create and share custom maps and game modes. This reflects a focus on community-driven content and long-term engagement.
