Magic Eden Celebrates New Mobile App With $100K Mintfest

Cross-chain NFT marketplace Magic Eden has launched its official mobile app for iOS and Android users. The Magic Eden team commemorates the newly introduced digital wallet with Mintfest, a $100,000 giveaway session.

Before now, Magic Eden users accessed the marketplace using the Magi Eden Wallet, a browser extension for connecting with decentralized apps (dApps) and NFT projects. However, a mobile app becomes a game changer, allowing users to safeguard their NFTs seamlessly and access more features.

Magic Eden revealed in a press release that the newly introduced mobile wallet was developed in collaboration with the developer team behind Exodus Wallet, a self-custodial digital wallet. The mobile app promises cross-chain NFT management across five blockchain networks, Web3 platforms, enhanced security, and more.

Commenting on the latest initiative and its impact on Magic Eden, Exodus’ CEO, JP Richardson, said:

Meanwhile, Magic Eden launched the Mintfest program to immortalize the significant leap on the blockchain. Those interested in participating in the Mintfest must “mint exclusive collectibles from WIF, Michi, and Echelon PRIME Foundation” via the Magic Eden Wallet. Interestingly, those using the newly launched mobile app qualify to mint double their entries.

Triggering a sense of urgency, Magic Eden added that 250 participants will win $400 each, bringing the total to $100,000. The NFT marketplace team spices things up by rolling out open editions (OEs) for WIF, MICHI, and Echelon. These OEs will be unveiled between August 21st and September 1st.

Upon receiving these tokens, users cannot trade them on the secondary market until the Mintfest campaign concludes.
